Thursday, Aug. 1, is the next date for “Summer Nights on the Square,” on Montezuma’s courthouse square.
This event starts at 5:30 p.m. and runs for two hours.
Thursday will be the “Touch a Truck” event. Families are encouraged to attend to see trucks, heavy machinery, equipment and more.
This free event is sure to keep kids of all ages entertained, say the organizing Montezuma Community Devenopment group.
Activities will include:
Kids Things – such as face painting, chalk station, ride-on toys, games, photo station, a book drive, and meet and greet with cast members of the upcoming musical.
Car Show – Sponsors are Vannoy Chevrolet, R & R Restorations, Taylor Auto Body and Monte Motor Parts.
Food Vendors – including Five Hawgs BBQ and Magoo’s Pizza.
Also – There will be craft vendors, local vendors, produce, and arts and crafts for sale and on display.
