PELLA – Montezuma sophomore Nolan Reynolds is off to a strong outdoor track season start for Central College.
Reynolds won the 400-meter dash in a personal best of 49.68 seconds at the William Penn Relays in Oskaloosa on Friday, April 16.
He placed fifth in the 200-meter dash in 22.48 seconds, and also ran a leg of Central’s winning 4×400 relay.
Central Coach Brandon Sturman said, “Nolan was the star of the day. That 400 was a two-seconds lifetime personal record. And then he came back strong in the 200.”
Reynolds in an exercise science major at Central. He is the son of Steve and Chastine Reynolds.
