Braxton Plants and Brett Plants broke the Braves’ record for most wins in a season within a day of each other at the Class 1A state wrestling tournament.
Coming in to this season, the school record for most victories in one season was 48, held by Cory Ferguson and Tyler Foubert.
Brett Plants reached his 50th victory on Friday and placed 8th at 190 pounds.
Braxton Plants set a new record with 51 wins, with his fourth place finish at 215 pounds on Saturday.
