Plants brothers win SICL titles!

NORTH ENGLISH – Montezuma’s wrestling Plants brothers, senior 190-pounder Brett, and junior 215-pounder Braxton, won South Iowa Cedar League championships at the conference meet on Saturday, Feb. 1.

Montezuma had nine place finishers (top six in their weight class), and placed fifth out of 10 teams with 123.5 points.

The Braves sent 11 wrestlers. All scored, but Wesley Ross (113 pounds) and Yudiel Gonzalez (165) did not make it into the top six.
