Rex and Barb Baker, two long-time volunteers in the Montezuma schools, got to do some state duty Nov. 2-4 at the state volleyball tournament in Cedar Rapids.
Rex announced two matches each day, Monday through Wednesday.
Rex and Barb are fixtures in the announcing spot and scorekeeper’s position at Montezuma volleyball matches, basketball and softball games, and you’ll see Rex announcing home track meets, too.
“What great people,” said Montezuma Activities Director Tim Burgess. “We are so lucky to have them in our community!”
