Montezuma High School junior Katie Reynolds has been chosen to the 2021 All-Iowa Honor Dance Squad.

This is such an honor,” said Macy Taylor Richards, her dance coach. “I can’t wait for Feb. 22.”

Feb. 22 is when the selectees will rehearse and do a video of their performance.

They were to have performed live at the girls state basketball tournament. But because of COVID concerns, it will be shown on the scoreboard at Wells Fargo Arena, and be available for television outlets.

Katie’s mom, Chastine Reynolds, said “Katie is excited for the opportunity to perform again and represent Montezuma!”

Katie is a multi-sport athlete at MHS, including being the setter on the varsity volleyball team, a sprinter in track and an outfielder in softball.

The All-Iowa Honor Dance Squad is chosen by the Iowa State Dance and Drill Team Association.
