Roadcap places 2nd at North Cedar Invite

CLARENCE – Montezuma sophomore Kennen Roadcap placed second at 285 pounds in the 10-team North Cedar Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 12.

Roadcap pinned two opponents on his way to the title match. In the finals, he was pinned in 3:10 by Nash Altman of Solon.

Braxton Simpson at 152 pounds was Montezuma’s other contestant in the meet.

Roadcap’s efforts produced 20 team points for the Braves, placing 10th among the teams there.

UP NEXT – Montezuma hosts multiple schools for dual meets on Tuesday, Dec. 15.
