Roadcap places third at North Cedar

CLARENCE – Three Braves earned medals as Montezuma competed with a dozen other wrestling teams at the North Cedar Invitational on Saturday, Dec. 10.

Kennen Roadcap placed third at 220 pounds, Brett Plants was fourth at 170 and Braxton Plants was fifth at 182.

As a team, the Braves scored 34.5 points to place 12th overall.

Solon won the meet with 173 points and Belle Plaine was second at 153.5.

Roadcap was 2-1 on the day, and scored a fall in 4:25 over Braydon Hoffmann of Solon in the third place match.

Brett Plants went 2-2 on the day, and Braxton Plants was 3-2 at 182.
