GRUNDY CENTER – Montezuma’s cross country runners got in some quality work against good competition at the Sam Iverson Invitational on Thursday, Sept. 26.
“We showed a lot of grit and had a lot of black bugs biting tonight,” said Coach Kevin Gartman, who indicated he’ll use results to help prepare his teams’ resumes for future meets.
“I’m proud of everyone for their work to finish,” Gartman said.
The meet marked the first finish of the season for Vivian Cook.
