A big second quarter and deadly accuracy from behind the three-point arc keyed Montezuma in a jamboree half of play Friday evening, Nov. 29 in the north gym.
Montezuma outscored BCLUW 46-29. The result doesn’t count as a win or loss for either team.
The Braves led 19-16 after one quarter, but outscored BCLUW 27-13 in the second period.
Montezuma, which shot .552 from the field (16-29), went 11-for-18 (.611) from three-point range!
The scoring was well-distributed. Cole Watts dropped in 14 points, including 4-for-5 on treys. Eddie Burgess had 12 points. Trey Shearer scored nine, and Masin Shearer had eight.
