SCORES: Braves roll past Moravia 71-7

The game WAS going on!

And, it went well for the Montezuma Braves against Moravia.

The Braves won 71-7 on Friday evening, Sept. 25, at Badger-Gabriel Field.

Actually, Montezuma had a 40-0 lead by the end of the first quarter! It was the second straight game the Braves had forced a continuous clock during first quarter play. It was 54-7 at halftime, and 61-7 through the third period.

Our thanks to Marie Boulton, for relaying that message up here to Wisconsin, where we’re under the desk hiding from COVID.

There was no live Montezuma broadcast tonight and scores were not posted early on the Blue & White Booster Club’s Facebook page (which is a REAL service to Montezuma sports fans!)

Montezuma’s win lifted the Braves to 5-0 on the season. Moravia tumbled to 0-5.

Come back later in the weekend, when we’ll have more details, stats, quotes from Coach Pat O’Brien, and photos from Mia Boulton!

UP NEXT – The Braves are at WACO on Friday, Oct. 2.
