SULLY – The Montezuma Braves got away to a quick start, built an early lead and gradually added to it during a 77-56 win over Lynnville-Sully Friday evening, Feb. 7.
The Braves finished unbeaten in South Iowa Cedar League play. Montezuma stands at 17-2 overall.
The Braves led 20-7 after one quarter, then had margins of one, two and five points during each of the final three periods of play.
Lynnville-Sully stands at 5-13 on the season and had lost its previous five games.
