SCORES: Braves pull away late, 75-58

STATE CENTER – Showing steady team play throughout, the varsity Montezuma Braves pulled away late to outscore West Marshall 75-58 in a non-counting scrimmage Monday evening, Nov. 25.

The Braves led 23-13 after one quarter, 39-28 at halftime and 56-47 through three before putting up a 19-11 fourth quarter to take the final margin out to 17 points.

West Marshall, a larger school, returns three double figures scorers from a 14-8 season last year.

UP NEXT – The Braves host their own jamboree on Friday evening, Nov. 29. Lynnville-Sully will play a half against GMG at 6 p.m., with the Braves going a half against BCLUW in the nightcap.
