Montezuma’s defense didn’t press, but it never rested, either.
The Bravettes held BGM to 8 percent field goal shooting as Montezuma ran past the Bears 76-9 Tuesday evening, Feb. 4, on the home hardwood.
Montezuma led 23-0 after one quarter, 47-3 at halftime and 66-4 through three periods.
Shateah Wetering scored 25 points, Elise Boulton had 18 and Shelby Conger scored 10 as Montezuma assisted 21 of 29 made field goals and took its record to 17-1.
BGM is 9-11.
