PELLA – The Montezuma Bravettes have been working hard to get ready for this opening night.
The early reviews are in – and they are glowing.
Call them back out! The crowd in blue wants more!
Montezuma, the state’s top-rated Class 1A team, beat a larger school, Pella Christian, 63-40 Tuesday evening, Nov. 26, in the Bravettes’ first official game of the season.
Pella Christian, which lost by nine points to Van Meter last week, is 0-2.
The JV Bravettes got the night off to a plus start for Montezuma with a 51-17 victory.
UP NEXT – The varsity Bravettes play East Buchanan at Coe College in Cedar Rapids at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30. Both Montezuma teams are at Colfax-Mingo for a JV/varsity girls doubleheader starting at 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2.
