The win was a big one for the Montezuma volleyball varsity – a 3-1 match victory over Lynnville-Sully at home on Thursday evening, Sept. 17.
The victory keeps the Bravettes near the top of the South Iowa Cedar League standings with a 2-0 league record. They are 4-4 overall.
Lynnville-Sully fell to 5-2 overall with its second league defeat.
Scores for the Bravettes were 25-13, 15-25, 25-16 and 25-17.
