All that recent competition against larger schools may have been beneficial for the varsity volleyball Bravettes.
Reason? They opened their SICL league season with a five-game, 3-2 win over HLV at home Monday evening, Sept. 14.
Montezuma won the fifth game, 15-7 after the teams were deadlocked at 2-2 after the first four games
The win lifted Montezuma to 3-4 overall for the season.
HLV stands at 0-5.
