EDDYVILLE – Montezuma’s first jump into the new girls basketball season was a success.
The Bravettes played pre-season scrimmage games against Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont on Friday evening, Nov. 15.
The results don’t count as wins or losses for either side, but the scrimmage was played under game conditions.
Montezuma’s varsity came out on top 65-32, while the junior varsity girls were on the high side of a 43-24 count.
Montezuma continues its pre-season on Monday at the Lynnville-Sully jamboree.
