SULLY – The Montezuma Bravettes assured themselves no worse than a tie for their second straight South Iowa Cedar League championship with an 80-49 win over Lynnville-Sully Friday evening, Feb. 7.
North Mahaska, which could still tie the Bravettes, hasn’t finished league play yet.
The Bravettes took their record out to 19-1 with the win.
Lynnville-Sully, 13-6, had won seven of its previous nine games.
