SULLY – Montezuma’s cross country teams made local history Tuesday night at the South Iowa Cedar League meet at Diamond Trail Golf Course.
The girls won the SICL team title for the second year in a row. It was Montezuma’s first-ever back-to-back league championships in the school’s history.
And, the Braves placed second as a team, their strongest finish in 20 years, according to Coach Kevin Gartman.
