Montezuma’s volleyball team won three matches and lost two at the Martensdale-St. Mary’s tournament on Saturday, Oct. 12.
The day’s efforts brought the Bravettes’ season record to 15-15.
Montezuma beat Earlham 2-0, Pleasantville 2-1 and Martensdale-St. Mary’s 2-1.
The Bravettes were defeated 0-2 by both Southeast Warren and Van Meter.
UP NEXT – The Bravettes open pool play in the SICL tournament on Monday, Oct. 14, in Belle Plaine. They take on English Valleys at 5 p.m. The winner faces Belle Plaine in the second match.
The SICL meet will continue Thursday. West division teams are hosting this year, but Monday’s results will determine locations.
