BROOKLYN – The high school volleyball Bravettes had the brooms out and working against BGM on Monday evening, Sept. 20.
The varsity won 3-0 over the Bears, on scores of 25-11, 25-14 and 25-18.
Both the frosh-soph and JV squads also won, two sets to none – so it was 7-0 sweep for Montezuma in all sets played.
The varsity Bravettes moved their record to 5-4, but remained unbeaten in conference play, which will be important when the league tournament is seeded.
BGM fell to 1-8.
UP NEXT – Montezuma hosts North Mahaska on Thursday, Sept. 24. The Warhawks are coached by a former Bravettes coach, Jim Woods.
Starting time for the night’s play is 5:30 p.m.
