Montezuma’s junior varsity and junior high school football teams scored home victories on Monday evening, Sept. 28.
The junior varsity football team was a 44-14 winner over BGM, after taking a 38-0 lead at halftime.
The schedule called for a contest against English Valleys, but the Bears had a number of players injured Friday and were not comfortable scheduling a JV contest.
In junior high play, Montezuma went to 1-1 on the season with a 62-20 victory over the English Valleys/Tri-County co-op program.
