Season ends, but a hope for more growth!

Go ahead and serve! (Crystal Ferry photo).

The final game of the season can bring a lot of emotions and the girls played a very tough Keota squad that served and moved the ball around.

The 8th graders found themselves in holes to start the matches and were unable to make-up from early mistakes, but still played some good volleyball.

It has been a blessing being able to coach this group for the past two years and watching them improve. They have learned a lot about the game and I hope they continue to be competitors in all that they do.

The 7th grade squad played a very tight first set before Keota got rolling. The group has improved so much and I have enjoyed working with all of the girls. They have grown as teammates and competitors.

In Junior High athletics, it is easy to get hung up on wins and losses, but the skills the kids are learning are so important. We want the kids to be hard-working, supportive, and hungry for more.

Both groups can still grow into so much more and I hope they continue to fight and compete in everything.
