IOWA CITY – University of Iowa freshman from Montezuma Shateah Wetering opened her college basketball career Wednesday evening, Nov. 25, when the Hawkeyes hosted UNI in Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
Wetering scored one point and grabbed two defensive rebounds in 6:13 of playing time as Iowa beat the Panthers, 96-81.
Shateah was 0-for-one from the field, and one-for two from the line.
