Spectator limits will impact play and more

(Editor’s note: The material below was posted on the Montezuma Schools website on Friday, Nov. 13).

As part of the governor’s proclamation released on November 11, all school activities are limited to two spectators per student participant.

To abide by this restriction, only two spectators (selected by the participants) will be admitted to this weekend’s Montezuma fall play. No other spectators will be allowed to attend.

This was a difficult decision to make, however this is the only option that we have to be in alignment with the governor’s most recent proclamation.

In addition, the school district is working with other area schools and departments of public health to develop a plan for other activities approaching in the upcoming weeks and months.

More information will be provided when these decisions have been made.

Thank you for your understanding and your continued support.
