This week’s “SPOTLIGHT ON A BRAVE WRESTLER” features Braxton Simpson. The 15 year-old freshman is the son of Matt and Renee Simpson. He began wrestling in junior high as a 7th grader and has won multiple matches.
Braxton’s goals on the mat include placing high in the individual tournaments while helping his teammates reach their goals as well.
In addition to wrestling, Braxton enjoys football, baseball, ice fishing and hunting. His favorite classes at MHS are English and math.
Looking to the future Braxton sees himself working for the DNR as a game warden.
