T. J. Townsend, a 16 year-old junior, competing in the 285 weight class, is the son of Marty and Jessica Townsend.
As this is his first year of wrestling T. J. is learning about the sport while helping his teammates achieve their goals and keeping them motivated.
Representing the Montezuma community in athletic competition on the football field and wrestling are among T. J.’s favorite things to do.
Outside of school he enjoys video games and driving. His favorite class is Ag Tech with Mr. Swenson. After graduation in 2022, he plans to join the work force.
