The scheduled Thursday, April 15 issue of The Record will not be published.
No, nothing serious – the owner has family coming in, so she decided to take a week off and enjoy hanging out with them.
Shirley Dunham is the publisher, editor, lead reporter, layout artist, distributor, archivist, chief financial officer and maintenance engineer for Montezuma’s weekly print publication.
The Record is expected to resume April 22.
Meanwhile, Montezuma Magazine (what you’re reading now) will continue to operate.
You’ll find sports stories and photos here as usual. (Story sources: Keep that data flowing, please).
Whether they’ll be repeated in the April 22 Record depends, on the weather, available space, and other intangibles too difficult to fully anticipate. It’s beyond my control, like a lot of things these days.
