Former Montezuma High School prep star, Darrell Ferneau, MHS ’69, must have passed his athletic genes on to his granddaughter, Sierra Chavez. Sierra placed 3rd in 155 lb. weight class in the national tournament as a member of the Campbellsville University Tigers women’s wrestling team. Campbellsville University is located in Kentucky.
