Top-rated Springville tops Bravettes, 3-0

SPRINGVILLE – The Montezuma Bravettes got to be across the net from the best Class 1A volleyball team in the state on Wednesday evening, Oct. 19.

Top-rated Springville dominated the net against shorter Montezuma, and swept the Bravettes 3-0 in the second round of regional play.

Scores were 25-13, 25-6 and 25-6.

The Orioles had a pair of players over 6 feet tall who were good all over the court, not just at the net. And they had capable help.

The win closed the season for the Bravettes with a record of 9-18.

Springville will move on at 35-3.
