Two lifetime best at state for Chloe

Thursday, May 16 was the first day of the State track meet and it was hot. Chloe Snook had three different individual events which made for a busy schedule.

The long jump and the 200 were only 10 minutes apart, so she was only able to get one jump in before running a lifetime best in the 200.

After that amazing performance in the 200, she didn’t have much left in her legs for the long jump and was unable to put it all together.

However, she rebounded and ran another lifetime best in the 100.

Overall, seeing the growth in Chloe has been amazing this season. She is continuing to set goals to improve and is doing so with confidence that will help her succeed.

We all wished that she would be able to qualify for the finals, but with a very strong field, it wasn’t in the cards this year.

We hope Chloe will continue to work hard, improve and lead the other track athletes.

Even though it didn’t end exactly how she would have liked it, there are many things to be proud of! Chloe represented Montezuma well!
