Volleyballers want to start fast

Montezuma’s varsity volleyball team is looking for a good start in order to get into a rhythm it can maintain all season.

They’ll see a lot of sustained action in tournaments during the first three dates of their season, which begins Saturday, Aug. 30 at Albia.

The Bravettes were a young team a year ago. But they’re more experienced now and that should make a difference.

Montezuma went 13-15 overall last year, and 3-6 in the SICL race.
