Walk-off homer tops Braves, 5-3

COLFAX ā€“ Colfax-Mingo pitcher Cael Bracewell broke up a pitcher’s duel between himself and Montezuma’s Luke Erselius with a walk-off two-run homer in the bottom of the seventh inning, givng the Tigerhawks a 5-3 victory.

The game was played Wednesday, May 22.

Luke Erselius was brilliant for the Braves, striking out 13 and walking just one in six-plus innings.

Bracewell pitched the seven-inning distance, striking out 15 Braves and walking no one.

Rett Pargeon is safe at second base at Colfax.

Gavin Wilcox drove in a run with a double for the Braves.

Luke Erselius had a single and scored a run.

Broox Stockman also had a hit and scored a run, as did Jack Erselius.

Garrett Watts and Stockman each stole a base for the Braves.

Lars Taylor added a hit to the Montezuma attack.
