Warhawks keep lid on Bravettes, 5-0
North Mahaska kept the Montezuma offense bottled up and scored a 5-0 win over the Bravettes on Montezuma’s field Friday evening, June 26.
The Warhawks outhit the Bravettes 7-2.
Kalynn Wanders and Izzy Roorda each singled for Montezuma’s two hits. They were the only Bravettes baserunners
Kallie Robison pitched all seven innings for Montezuma. She allowed seven hits and five runs, three of them earned. She walked one and struck out two.
The loss left the Bravettes even on the season at four wins and four losses.
