University of Iowa photo.Shateah Wetering made it official Wednesday, Nov. 13, by signing her National Letter of Intent to play basketball at the University of Iowa.
The Montezuma all-state senior verbally committed to Iowa two years ago.
Wetering inked the document in the north gym, with family members, teammates, classmates and Bravettes fans looking on.
The multi-sport star will be a fourth-year starter for the Bravettes.
Wetering has been a standout in volleyball and track in addition to basketball for Montezuma.
Janel Burgess is the head coach for Wetering at Montezuma.
