Area youth are encouraged to participate in a Youth Golf Camp May 28-30 at Montezuma Country Club.
May 28 will feature hitting, chipping and putting basics, as well as golf safety and etiquette.
The camp is free of charge the first two days.
Students in grades 2-4 will report from 8 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
Students in grades 5-8 will go from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
On May 30, there will be driving, chipping and putting competition.
This will cost $10 per camper to cover the cost of prizes.
Grades 2-4 will compete from 8 a.m. to 9:15.
Grades 5-12 will compete from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Students can enter the day of camp. Clubs can be borrowed at no charge.
The camp will be facilitated by Montezuma Country Club volunteers, and by Montezuma High School golf team members.
Send student’s name, grade, parent contact, name and phone, and right- or left-handed club, if clubs are needed.
