The July 4 holiday has come and gone and you know what happens next?

Fall sports season! Which seems to creep up on us earlier every year.
This year, the football Braves will play two games before the Labor Day holiday, and the third one will be Labor Day weekend.
Don’t like that?
How about this . . .they have six home games this season, plus an away game at nearby BGM.
The football team will have to play their first games in five years without Eddie Burgess, but they figure to have a bunch of quickness and experienced talent.
The volleyball program will have a crop of strong athletes to throw at opponents, and there’s experience in cross country, too.
