The Montezuma JV boys basketball team closed its season with a big 67-30 win over English Valleys on Tuesday, Feb. 6, at home.
The Braves put four scorers into double figures.
Dane Strong scored 18 and went 6-for-8 on three-pointers.
Luke Brennan scored 13 points and Briar Simpson and Easton Hudnut each scored 10.
Hudnut went 3-for-8 on treys.
Simpson had 8 rebounds.
Strong had 7 rebounds for Montezuma, which owned a 33-14 margin in rebounding. He also dished four assists.
Broox Stockman added 5 rebounds to Montezuma’s totals.
The Braves shot .509 to the field, and limited the Bears to .286.
