HAVING SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETED their first semester of college, the Montezuma Lions Club presented $200 scholarship checks to two recipients on Jan. 5. Lions President Boyd Sparks, at left, presents a check to Sadie DeJong, and Lions Scholarship Chairman Jerome Sheets, at right, presents a check to Justine Theis. Sadie is a student at Northwestern College at Orange City, where she is majoring in graphic design. Justine is attending Iowa State University, where she is majoring in integrated studio arts.
