THORNBURG – Two of the five Montezuma High School girls who wrestle for BGM’s girls team won SICL championships, and all five made it to the medals stand.
The meet was contested on Tuesday, Jan. 22.
As a team, the Bears placed second among seven squads, just one point behind champion Colfax-Mingo.
The SICL champions from Geneseo are Coral Lowry at 130 pounds, and Ryah Thompson at 190.
Harlea Pargeon was third at 145 pounds, and Tayler Wickham was third at 170.
Taya Sincox was the fourth place finisher at 125.
