Montezuma’s wrestlers engage in post-season district action on Saturday, Feb. 10, at I-35 High School in Truro.
The first two place winners in each weight class will advance to the State Individual Tournament Feb. 14-17 in Des Moines.
The state field has been expanded to 24 wrestlers in each weight class, eliminating the need for sectional tournaments.
Class 1A schools competing in Truro are: BGM, Cardinal, East Union, I-35, Lynnville-Sully, Martensdale-St. Mary’s, Montezuma, Moravia, Nodaway Valley, Southeast Warren and Wayne.
