MHS speech students honored at All-State

Izzy Roorda and Kaya Latcham were given non-performing recognition in musical theater for "Ordinary Days."

AMES – Saturday, Feb. 17, was All-State Saturday for speech students and a number of Montezuma students were honored by performing or recognition.

Kaya Latcham and Izzy Roorda earned All-State Recognition, non-performing, in musical theatre for their performance of “Ordinary Days.”

The choral reading group, “The Lucky Ones, the true story of Holocaust survivor Dr. Edith Evers, performed on the CY Stephens Stage during the late morning and early afternoon on Saturday.
