The weather held Monday afternoon, March 25, for the Braves & Bravettes first golf meet of the season held at Montezuma Country Club.

Both teams had great first outings. On the boys side, the team captured first place over Belle Plaine and HLV.

Max Anderson earned runner up medalist after the cardback due to both he and Jeremy Reineke of Belle Plaine shooting a 38. It was a great meet to have our seasoned boys golfing alongside our newcomers.

On the girls side, we were unable to score as a team due to one of the team members not being present, although scores showed we would have come out with the win if all four had golfed.

Golfing for the Bravettes were Izzy Roorda, Claire Erselius, and Kylee Larmore, all first-time golfers.

Izzy earned runner-up medalist, shooting a 54 after Belle Plaine’s Jacey Reineke who shot a 47.

Next up will be the boys meet at Colfax and the girls will host again Thursday. The boys heading to some tough competition at Bos Landen that day.
